Getting Ready
Who else is dying over this First Look with Veronica’s dad?
Veronica chose black dresses and dark florals to capture the essence of the winter season.
We sure do love the shots of the bridal party, and how lucky are we that Still 55 got one of their photographers upstairs in The Banker’s Lounge to catch these sweet shots of Adam?

Did you know that when you book The Treasury on the Plaza, you are welcome to use our white leather sectional sofas? We love the way Veronica and Adam incorporated a lounge area into their wedding reception floor plan!
Party Time
And now the fun begins! Veronica and Adam dreamed of walking into their wedding reception like rock stars. The pair worked with The Treasury team to coordinate the most incredible entrance to an AC/DC classic. They incorporated the Hollywood Special Effects Package‘s fog machine and customized moving spotlights to create one of the most memorable moments of the evening. The pictures speak for themselves!
Say it with me: WEDDING ENTRANCE GOALS!
The fun didn’t stop with the newlywed’s grand entrance. With props, a lighting change or two, and some bubbly for the guests to take with them as they went, the party stayed hot all night long.

Q+A With the Blushing Bride
1. How did you and Adam meet? How did he propose?
Adam and I met back in April of 2010. At the time I was attending Flagler College and working as a part-time cashier at Publix out on Anastasia Island. Adam and his roommate used to shop at my Publix almost every day and I would always make conversation and talk to them.
One day Adam came into the store by himself and I happened to be working on the express line. I finished his order and handed him his receipt when he asked me for a pen, not thinking anything of it I handed him a pen and continued on to the next customer. Next thing I knew Adam was handing me his receipt with his number written on the back of it and he told me to call him.
Later that night after my shift, I got back to my dorm at Flagler and told my roommates what happened and they told me to call him, so I did! We’ve been together ever since!
He then proposed in September of 2016 at the top of the St. Augustine Lighthouse.
2. What was your vision for your big day? Where did you find inspiration?
Growing up I always dreamed of having an elegant black tie wedding with lots of flowers and of course sparkle! Adam and I both wanted to get married in the “winter” here in Florida and when we settled on December 16th, we knew we wanted to try to incorporate a holiday feel, without it feeling too Christmasey. We chose black tuxedos and black dresses for our bridal party and then combined our winter color palette with dark cranberry colors, blush hues, rich greenery, and gold accents. Jess at Foxhound Floral made our dreams come to life with all of her floral arrangements. She definitely brought a lot of inspiration for us, especially being able to see colors come together after months and months of planning. She even added cranberry colored hypericum berries to our arrangements which tied everything together perfectly.
3. What was the most memorable moment from your wedding day?
There were so many memorable moments from our wedding day! Our favorite moment was during our grand entrance and feeling all of that anticipation build and then coming through The Treasury doors in a cloud of fog into the most welcoming atmosphere surrounded by friends and family.
4. Do you have any advice for future brides and grooms?
Our advice is to embrace the unplanned surprises and the unexpected because those were the most memorable moments. We also loved doing the first look! It was so great to be able to share that special moment between us, full of just raw emotion and so much love and excitement. Plus it helped calm us before the ceremony!
