The Treasury on the Plaza has all of the classic elements of a 100-year-old art-deco era building, such as soaring ceilings and intricate architectural details. It’s hard to describe the feeling you get when you walk into the Grand Ballroom for the first time. Many of our couples equate it to the moment they realized that their fiancé was “the one.” When you know, you know. It’s so easy to imagine celebrating in these venue spaces, with all of the people you love under one roof!
The Treasury may be best known for its unique history as a bank. There are still hints of its past life in many areas of the space, including the original bank vault from 1927, which has been transformed into a bar! Despite being built for a completely different purpose, it’s amazing how perfectly all of the different venue spaces flow together for a wedding. We know you’ll be blown away!
This historic ballroom is one of the most stunning spaces in all of St. Augustine. With its towering ceilings, ornate columns, and soft cream color palette, The Grand Ballroom is a stunning backdrop for wedding ceremonies that evoke the classic elegance of a bygone era. Later in the evening, state-of-the-art lighting transforms the ballroom into a chic, stylish space to party the night away. Host an unforgettable wedding ceremony and reception for up to 175 guests in this grand space.
One of The Treasury’s most unique spaces, The Vault Bar is a marble and granite bar housed inside the original 1927 bank vault. With its low lighting and historic touches, The Vault brings to mind a prohibition-era speakeasy. The Treasury bar team will serve up delicious drinks throughout the reception that even Al Capone would find satisfying! Make sure to check out our bar packages for all of the amazing options!
The Exchange Gallery is a lovely, intimate space just off The Grand Ballroom. It serves as the perfect area for guests to relax, sip on drinks, and enjoy hors d’oeuvres before entering The Grand Ballroom. During the reception, the Exchange Gallery has plenty of space to be used for a buffet-style dinner service.
The Grand Foyer is the main entrance to The Treasury, located just off the Plaza de la Constitucion. An exquisite example of Mediterranean Revival-style architecture, The Grand Foyer features many original details from the historic bank, including a beautiful hand-carved wooden concierge desk, hand-painted wood-beamed ceilings, one of the bank’s original deposit tables, and an aged brass letterbox that connects all the way up through all six floors of the building! The foyer is the perfect location for your guest book, gift table, photo displays, and other personal decor.
The Foyer Balcony, with its stunning bay window overlooking the Plaza, is the perfect spot for photos or a first look prior to your wedding ceremony.
*The balcony is available for photos starting at vendor access time, while the rest of the lobby is available for photos after 5:00 pm. Speak to your event manager to coordinate your photo locations.
Located just off of the Grand Ballroom, The Treasury Lounge is one of the venue’s two private suites. The spacious room features makeup stations, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, a lounge seating area, a private bathroom, and a kitchenette. When you are ready to make your grand entrance and walk down the aisle, The Plaza Lounge also has a secret entrance to the Grand Foyer! The Banker’s Lounge is the second of our two private suites. This warm and entertaining suite is outfitted with comfortable leather couches, a poker table, a dartboard, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, and a large kitchenette. These suites are the perfect sanctuaries to have fun with your crew as you get ready to say “I do.”
