Taylor and Jon got married on an absolutely beautiful St. Augustine day this past December. The sun was shining and the town was bustling with tourists in town for the annual Nights of Lights celebration.
Taylor and her bridesmaids got ready on-site in The Treasury’s beautiful Bridal Suite, while the groomsmen relaxed upstairs in the Groom’s Suite. Taylor kept her bridal gown secret and did a first look with all of her bridesmaids in The Treasury’s Grande Foyer. Then it was Jon’s turn to see his beautiful bride. We loved seeing all of the amazing reactions captured by Shipra Panosian Photography!
After taking photos with their wedding party around St. Augustine, it was time for Taylor and Jon to say “I do!” The couple opted for a unique ceremony setup featuring The Treasury’s magnificent 1920s era bank vault as their wedding ceremony backdrop. Since the inside of The Vault contains a hidden bar, black draping was used to conceal the bar until guests re-entered the ballroom for the reception. The Vault was flanked by beautiful white rose, hydrangea, and eucalyptus leaf floral arrangements created by Wilsons Limited. The overall effect was so romantic and simply elegant!
While the bride, groom, and all of their guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the Exchange Gallery, the Grande Ballroom was transformed for the reception. Many of the floral arrangements from the ceremony were cleverly repurposed as centerpieces on the reception tables. The classic white and silver decor paired perfectly with the lavender purple lighting in the ballroom.
Guests dined on yummy comfort food, including gourmet grilled cheese, shrimp and grits, and chicken tenders from Mai Oui Gourmet. McGee Entertainment kept the couple and their guests out on the dance floor all night long. The evening ended with a festive sparkler exit on the front steps of The Treasury, surrounded by the twinkling lights in the Plaza de la Constitucion.
