Danielle & Mike’s New Orleans-Themed Treasury on The Plaza Wedding

Who says that you have to travel all the way to The Big Easy to enjoy fabulous music, delicious cuisine, and a Mardi Gras party atmosphere? Danielle and Mike hosted their New Orleans-themed wedding reception in St. Augustine at The Treasury on The Plaza earlier this year. Life and Love Studio was there to capture the colorful celebration with breathtaking photos and a heart touching video.

Second line parade to wedding at The Treasury on The Plaza St. Augustine

After a beautiful ceremony at St. Augustine’s stunning Memorial Presbyterian Church the wedding party and guests celebrated with a traditional New Orleans second-line parade. Revelers were led by a brass band through the St. Augustine streets waving handkerchiefs and props all the way to The Treasury on The Plaza.

During the reception, guests were treated to a live painting by artist Ben Keys of Wed On Canvas. The mixture of art and entertainment was yet another way for Danielle and Mike to incorporate the culture of New Orleans into their wedding in a unique and unexpected way.
